Please use this list for responses to Frequently Asked Questions about UA Thrive courses. For other questions, please contact us.
Why am I being asked to take this course?
UA Thrive courses help equip students to be successful in a college environment by educating them before they arrive on campus and enhancing their aptitude for personal wellness and resiliency. Your participation in these courses not only equips you for success, but it can help you support others on campus in times of need. Additionally, significant student participation also allows us to fulfill federal requirements from the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Justice.
When will the course be available?
UA Thrive will open for new University of Alabama students on Dec 16, 2024 with a deadline of all modules due by Feb. 3, 2025.
I am a transfer student. Do I need to complete Thrive UA?
The University encourages all students to complete the Thrive courses. Not only will it help equip you for success in a college environment, but significant student participation also allows us to fulfill federal requirements from the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Justice.
Can you tell me where on campus I can use a computer to complete Thrive UA?
Some colleges and departments have computer labs for students to use. Visit http://pclabs.ua.edu for computer lab listings.
